When the Galaxy S6 was announced last month in Barcelona. We learned that both sides of the device are made of glass. Okay, cool. But what about durability? What about scratches? If you’ve owned an Xperia smartphone, or knows something that has, then you know exactly what I’m talking about. So far there hasn’t been any real issues with that. However, a YouTuber has decided it’d be a good idea to run over the Samsung Galaxy S6 with a Tesla Model S. Two things that tech geeks love. You can check out the full video down below.
In the video, he does a drop test of the Galaxy S6. Which has become very popular lately with YouTubers. Which the Galaxy S6 actually performed quite well. Not sure the Galaxy S6 Edge would perform as well however. Then he decides to go ahead and run it over with a Tesla Model S, reaching a high-speed of 14 miles per hour. Now obviously, the glass cracked and shattered. I mean it’d be weird if it didn’t, after all that weight hitting the device.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 is now available in stores from AT&T, Sprint, Verizon, T-Mobile and US Cellular here in the US, with more carriers coming online in a few weeks. Those include the likes of Cricket, Boost Mobile, Virgin Mobile and other prepaid carriers. The Galaxy S6 also features a 5.1-inch 2560×1440 resolution Super AMOLED Display, Exynos 7420 octa-core 64-bit chipset from Samsung, along with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. There’s no microSD card this time around, so we also have 64GB and 128GB storage options available. Samsung also has a 16MP camera on the back, which can take some pretty mind-blowing shots.
Early reports have stated that the Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S6 Edge sold well over it’s launch weekend. We kinda figured that with all the hype it was getting. It’s legitimately the best smartphone Samsung has ever made. In design, hardware and software, Samsung really has outdone themselves this time around. But I’m not sure they intended someone to run over their brand new Galaxy S6 with a Tesla Model S.
