Although Samsung’s S Pen may seem like a simple piece of hardware that helps make the company’s Note devices a bit more useful, that doesn’t mean Samsung hasn’t been looking for ways to make it even more powerful. At their ongoing developer conference, Samsung has announced the new Advanced S Pen and a special SDK that developers can use to tap into the new features.
According to Samsung, the new Advanced S Pen is twice as sensitive as the current S Pen. The new pen is capable of recognizing speed, tilt and rotation. This helps it produce more life-like strokes that look like handwriting. Users can also tap into new advanced editing features with the new pen.
The new Advanced S Pen will work with Samsung’s latest Note devices, the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and the Samsung Galaxy Edge.

After seeing the update to Chrome's beta channel recently, it was inevitable the same build, slightly improved, would reach the stable version. So here we are, Chrome for Android v39. It's not a huge update, but not like you're going to skip it or anything.
Here's the anemic changelog provided by Google for this update.
So, we know that the colored status bar works on Android 5.0 devices, which was previously only in the beta.

The release of the Project Tango tablet is near. A page for the Project Tango tablet is now live on Google Play. It features the 3D sensing device in black and white color options. A price is not attached and it “is not for sale at this time.” What we do know is that the Project Tango Development Kit will not have a warranty attached. Furthermore, Google will not allow returns or refunds after the item is ordered. So what you buy is what you get and that is final. The price is expected to be extremely high and only dedicated developers will be buyers of it.
Here are the specifications according to Google Play:

Continue building your Material Design portfolio by installing the new version of Google Cloud Print. The app looks completely different and follows the design guidelines laid out in Android 5.0 Lollipop. Everything is much cleaner and a slideout menu comes in from the left side. The functionality of Google Cloud Print remains the same. Since the app sits behind the scenes, do not expect to see anything appear in the app drawer.
Hit the break for download links.

Fans of Game of Thrones have a new way to get a bit of the HBO hit show into their daily lives thanks to an update to Google search. When using the Google search app on Android or iOS devices, users can say “Hodor” and they will get a “HODOR!” response from the app. Even on desktop search, if voice search has been activated, Google will respond with an info card full of “Hodor.”
Along with the nod to Hodor, Google also added some new functions to search. You can ask Google to “roll a die” (dice will work as well) and the search results will give you the results of the roll. Thus far that function is limited to a single six-sided die. Google can also “flip a coin” in response to the command. Finally, if you need a romantic quote on short notice, you can ask Google for a love quote and get something appropriate.
HODOR!

If you use Google Wallet to buy and sell items online, start searching for another option. Google will be shutting down the Google Wallet for Digital Goods API on March 2, 2015. So everything will work just fine right up until that date. Support will be pulled immediately and Google is not going to offer another solution. Merchants using the Digital Goods API should remove the code from their site and pickup a new service to handle online transactions.

A software update is rolling out to Nexus devices around the world, but Nexus 4 owners have yet to see anything. We are here to tell you not to worry. When Android 5.0 was introduced last month, Google employee Sascha Pruter made it clear that the Nexus 4 would receive the software update. He told owners of the device to relax and be prepared to enjoy Lollipop. So, folks, Lollipop is coming to the Nexus 4. It is just not known when. Considering how Google updated other Nexus devices at once, the Nexus 4 should not be too far behind.

It's not unusual to see slightly customized builds of Android rolling out to Nexus devices shortly after the release of a new version. It certainly happened a few times with KitKat, and it looks like Lollipop is on track to do the same. As the rush of factory images and OTAs roll out, AOSP is also receiving commits for the new device-specific builds; and Al Sutton was quick to put out changelogs for each version.
Developer Changelogs Posted For Each Lollipop Build From 5.0.0_r2 (LRX21M) To 5.0.0_r5 (LRX21Q) was written by the awesome team at Android Police.
