We know when at least one of the upcoming round Android Wear devices will be available. LG told The Wall Street Journal that the G Watch R is going to be released on October 14. It did leave out exactly which markets will be getting the smartwatch on that date. Also, an expectation for its price was set. The company says that the round smartwatch will cost more than the $229 that the original G Watch was priced at. While it will ship with a standard strap, LG will have a wider selection available to welcome customization.
For those wondering how it followed the G Watch so quickly, LG explains that the G Watch R was in development for two years.
