After months of rumors, Huawei has finally officially announced the Ascend Mate 7. The Mate 7 boasts a 1080p, 6-inch screen with some extremely tiny bezels and some pretty decent specs.
The phablet is powered by Huawei’s own custom octa-core processor, 2 GB of RAM, and an enormous 4100 mAh battery. You’ll get 16 GB of internal storage space plus a microSD card slot, a 13 megapixel rear shooter and 5 megapixel front camera, and the typical WiFi, Bluetooth, and other radios. Huawei also included a fingerprint scanner located on the back of the device.
The phone will be available in four colors; black, silver and gold. It’ll cost about 399 euros at launch, and Huawei plans on releasing it to several European countries. We’ll probably never see it make its way to the States, but hopefully it’s a solid device for customers in other regions.
