Sprint Begins Selling The Galaxy Note 4 On Oct. 17th, Pre-Orders Begin Sep. 26th

Samsung-Galaxy-Note-4-AH-1

Sprint may not be carrying the Moto X, but they are going to be carrying the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and they’re preparing for the launch of the device next month. The good news for Sprint customers: They’ll be able to purchase and pick up this device beginning on Friday, October 17th. Sprint has been making plenty of new changes to their pricing plans and offerings after the removal of Dan Hesse and the installation of new company CEO Marcelo Claure, and they want to reiterate Sprint’s competitive price plans compared to other carriers alongside the Sprint Spark powered Galaxy Note 4, which should be a great device for browsing, streaming, gaming, and anything else that might have need for a data connection.

Sprint points out that their $60 unlimited plan is cheaper compared to competitor T-Mobile’s $80 plan that offers the same unlimited talk, text, and data features, and if you’re on either AT&T or Verizon Wireless there is no unlimited data to be had. Realistically though, we as consumers have to consider how much “true unlimited” data is really needed. As the last few years have gone by, I have seen myself shift from using near 20GB of mobile data a month on an unlimited plan to staying under my now 5GB throttle cap, all thanks to the lovely benefits of WiFi which is pretty much everywhere.

Whether you will need or want unlimited data or not to help enhance the experience of a newly bought and owned Galaxy Note 4, the device will be available on Sprint soon at just under a month from now, and you can even begin pre-ordering the device starting next Friday which is September 26th. Sprint mentions that the Galaxy Note 4 will be available through all of their sales channels which includes telesales, business sales(which is good since the Note 4 is a Samsung SAFE device)web sales and of course all of Sprint’s physical retail locations. What does the device cost at full retail? According to Sprint it’ll be $720, which is the end cost that you pay if you choose to snatch up the phone using Sprint’s Easy Pay option of $0 down and 24 monthly payments of $30 tacked onto your rate plan, or if you just buy it completely outright. The weblink isn’t live yet, but if you’re a Sprint subscriber and will be attempting to pre-order you can do so by hitting this link which you can also use to pre-register.
