Google Nexus 6 / X : What kind of storage will it have?

storage-nexus-4

We’ve been talking a lot about the Nexus 6 and the Nexus X over the past few weeks. Now it’s time to talk storage. This may seem like something stupid to write an entire post on, but a lot of people don’t know what to expect. And that’s what we’re here to talk about. The Nexus 4 was the Nexus that started the cheap pricing. It was $299 for the 8GB Nexus 4 and $349 for the Nexus 4 16GB. Then the Nexus 5 came out with 16GB for $349 and 32GB for $399. Which were still great prices. Now what about the Nexus 6? Knowing Google, we’ll likely see a 16GB and a 32GB model. Now as far as 64GB goes, I’m not quite sure we’ll see it. Although I’d definitely love to see a 64GB model. I’d buy that in a heart beat.

While 32GB is probably enough for most of us, it’s still nice to have 64GB of storage, especially since we know there won’t be a microSD card slot on this one. Typically Google has only had two sizes, so hopefully we see 32GB and 64GB but I wouldn’t hold my breath. Or maybe they’ll go the way of OnePlus and the iPhone 6 and go 16GB and 64GB models? That would definitely be nice, right?

How much storage do you want to see in the Nexus 6, realistically? Let us know in the comments below.
