Aerelight has a product that really caught my eye this morning. This is a new OLED lamp that has Qi wireless charging in the base. Which is pretty cool, but obviously that’s not the entire story here as the lamp is OLED. So that it’s an organic LED light. Which makes the light thinner, more energy efficient and brighter as well. Which is a big deal for those that want to go green. Additionally, the base has a built-in Qi Wireless Charging pad, which makes it easy for you to set down your smartphone on the base and let it charge. It’s a really neat idea actually, because it’ll save room on your desk by essentially killing two birds with one stone.
This lamp from Aerelight is also touch control, so you just touch it to turn it on and touch it to turn it off. Keeping the minimalistic look, basically. They have it available in silver, red and black. Too bad they couldn’t make one in red and black. Additionally the wireless charging pad looks like it’s made of wood. Now it might not be, it may be made to look like wood so you can see where the Qi coils are on the lamp.
So what kind of materials is Aerelight made out of? “We designed the aerelight desk lamp using natural materials. The frame of the aerelight desk lamp is crafted from a single piece of anodized aluminum with a brushed finish and natural wood accents.”
