The upcoming HTC-made Nexus 9 tablet will most likely be released in October, but if you’re looking for a precise date, October 16th just might be it. Paul O’Brien, founder of MoDaCo, tweeted this info earlier today. The only problem is that this leak comes from an anonymous tipster.
Like I said, in all likelihood, we will see the Nexus 9 in October, so anyone can throw out dates. This anonymous tipster could be right on, but we really don’t know for sure until Google announces it. Last year, Google didn’t host a special event for the Nexus 5, and we are expecting the same this year. The Nexus 6, or whatever they are going to call it, will probably be announced alongside the Nexus 9 in a simple press release. Stay tuned.
