Are you ready to hop on your virtual motorcycle and send it hurtling across a shark-infested pool while trying to make it through a flaming ring of death? If so, start revving your engines as Joe Danger for Android is getting ready to launch on Google Play, Amazon Appstore and the OUYA store.
Joe Danger for Android is based on the popular Joe Danger Touch title that came out for iOS. Although the developers ported the game over to several other platforms, they are just now getting to the Android release thanks to assistance from SockMonkey Studios.
The Android version will come with all of the original Joe Danger Touch features. This includes 80 levels of play with a Pro Medal available for a perfect run. Users will also have access to online scoreboards, achievements, 29 characters to collect, and a Daily Challenge to help keep things fresh.
Hello Games has not announced the actual date for the release of Joe Danger for Android, indicating only that it will be coming “real soon.” Given the original’s popularity and the requests for an Android port, once it does hit the Google Play store and other locations, it should quickly climb the ranks of popularity.
