Bracketron Unveil Qualcomm Quick Charge Powered USB Chargers For The Home And Vehicle

A couple of days ago we heard that Bracketron had unveiled a new charger for vehicles. This one went by the name the EZCharge and allowed for direct connecting and charging of multiple devices via your vehicle’s 12V battery. However, the most interesting aspect of the EZCharge was that it was an ‘either-way’ charger meaning there was no right (and more importantly no wrong) way to insert your USB lead. The EZCharge allows for inserting of USB leads any which way. Well, following on from this, Bracketron have today unveiled another USB charger. This one is going by the ‘Snap2.0′ name and will be available in two variants – one for the home and one for your vehicle.

In contrast to the EZChange, the Snap2.0 does not offer dual connection of USB powered devices. That said, the one feature which the Snap2.0 does offer over the EZCharge is that it can charge your device far quicker. This is largely due the Snap2.0 containing Qualcomm’s new Quick Charge 2.0 technology, This is the one you have heard about for the new smartphones and devices. As such, the Snap2.0 is able to charge devices from zero to 100 percent in under two hours and all directly from your vehicle’s 12v battery. According to Bracketron, this means devices can now be charged 75 percent faster than conventional chargers. Of course, this is as long as your smartphones can handle Qualcomm Quick charge.

So if you are in the market for a quick charge solution, then you might want to give the Snap2.0 your consideration. Smartphones containing Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chips can be fully charged (zero to 100 percent) as mentioned in under two hours. If you need a much quicker charge, then it is suggested you can obtain roughly a 60% charge in as little as thirty minutes. This will offer most of the flagship devices hitting the market in 2015 a real powerful and quicker charge compared to normal chargers. Not to mention that it will also be ideal for the Motorola DROID Turbo, Google Nexus 6, Samsung Galaxy Note 4 or Edge, HTC Desire EYE, Sony Xperia Z3, LG G3 or HTC One M8. For those devices which do not contain a Snapdragon 800+ processor then the Snap2.0 will still be able to offer a faster charge due to its 2.4A output. If you are interested then the home version will be on sale for $29.99 while the car variant will be available for $24.99
