Vodafone Australia Reveals Samsung Galaxy Note 4 And Note Edge Presale Deals

Note Edge vs Note 4 AH Starting October 15, Vodafone will begin taking pre-orders for the new Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and Galaxy Note Edge in Australia. According to an anonymous tip, the Note 4 will be available from $4 to $10 a month over 24 months, while the Note 4 Edge will be priced from $12 to $18 a month, according to your monthly service plan. To sweeten the deal even more, Vodafone will include a Samsung Level On headset worth $249 to those who order a Note 4 before October 29, or a Note 4 Edge before November 5. Not leaving out valuable business customers, Vodafone is also offering 3 months of free service to those porting in a new number.

Vodafone’s presale deals aren’t the only attractive thing about both of these devices. With the Note 4 and Note 4 Edge, Samsung has finally abandoned the much-criticised plastic bodies of its previous phones and graced the new Notes with a premium metal casing. The two devices are nearly identical: both come with Samsung’s QHD(Quad High Definition) Super AMOLED display; however, the Note 4 display is 5.7 inches, while the Galaxy Note Edge is slightly smaller at 5.6 inches. This makes room for a small secondary display along the edge of the phablet, which can display a clock, as well as other notifications and information. Apart from the extra display, both devices carry the same internals, with 3 GB of RAM, a 2.7 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 805 processor, 3.7 megapixel front-facing camera, and a 16 megapixel rear-facing camera. The Galaxy Note 4 has 32 GB of onboard memory and supports up to a 128 MB MicroSD card. The Note 4 Edge also has a 64 GB variant available. In the battery compartments, the Note 4 packs a whopping 3220 mAh battery, while the Note 4 Edge holds a slightly smaller capacity 3000 mAh battery. Both devices will ship with Android 4.4.4 (KitKat) and will include Samsung’s smart stylus, the S-Pen. A feature new to both devices is called Quick Charge. This will allow the phone to reach a 50% charge in 30 minutes, or a full charge in just under an hour with a compatible charger.

While not the first carrier to offer the new Notes in Australia, Vodafone’s presale deals may be too good to pass up.
