Oppo’s CEO Sheds Some Light On Oppo N3’s Camera

We really did get and share lots of Oppo N3 rumors / leaks in the last couple of weeks. Oppo has basically officially announced that they will unveil their new Oppo N3 flagship in Singapore on October 29th. The company did via its official Twitter profile by sharing an image which clearly stated the city, the date and the name of the device. Yesterday Oppo shared yet another piece of information with us, this time they posted a partial image of the N3 on their official Facebook page. This image showed us Oppo N3’s camera along with the upper back side of the phone. This time around we get some details regarding that camera straight from Oppo’s CEO.

Chenming Yong, Oppo’s CEO, shared a new image on his Weibo account earlier today. Along with the image, he shared a few details about Oppo N3’s camera specifications. He said that the camera will have a 1/2.3-inch sensor which will result in higher quality images along with a less noticeable crop factor. The camera itself will have a 16-megapixel sensor. This basically means that we’ll see a camera which is on par with the Xperia Z3 as far as the 1/2.3 sensor goes at least, Sony has a 20.7-megapixel shooter. Either way, this sounds really promising and it will be interested to see what will Oppo pack in there as far as software goes and will the images be any good once they release this thing.

Oppo N3 will allegedly be made out of lithium-aluminum body, sport a new cooling system made by Oppo and will reportedly feature a VOOC rapid charging just like the Oppo Find 7. These are, of course, all rumors. We’ve also seen a bunch of renders prior to the official one yesterday, though there’s no point in mentioning that right now considering Oppo already shot all those down by releasing an official one, despite the fact it was just a partial render. Oppo N3 will reportedly sport a 5.9-inch 1080p or QHD display along with 3GB of RAM and will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 805 quad-core processor. The unveiling is rather close, but stay tuned, I’m sure we’ll se more leaks by then.
