HTC is hosting a little event this Wednesday in New York City, and we expect to see either the HTC Desire Eye or the One (M8 Eye) along with the RECamera. My money is on the Desire Eye.
Thanks to Zauba, which tracks shipment records, we have an idea of much both devices will cost. The Desire Eye (pictured above) is valued at 21,490 INR, which translates to about $350. The One (M8 Eye) comes in at 27,035 INR or about $440.
The One (M8 Eye) appears to be a One (M8) replica with a 13 MP rear-facing Duo Camera setup, but I don’t believe the megapixel count has been confirmed for the front-facer. The Desire Eye, on the other hand, is going to come with a front-facing 13 MP lens along with LED flash. Since the same setup will be on the back side, we are thinking this will be the phone that will be revealed at this week’s event, as in Double Exposure.
