On the same day that it splits from Hewlett-Packard Enterprise, HP is launching a new tablet. The HP 10 Plus is already available through select retailers for $279. At the price, you get quality hardware with what seems to be Android 4.4.2 untouched. There are no signs that HP messed around with the user interface.
HP did not skimp on the specifications. The 10.1-inch display is a has a resolution of 1920×1080 and the entire device weighs 1.46lbs. Under the hood is a quad-core processor with 2GB of RAM. The 16GB of internal storage is joined by a microSD card slot to make some more room. The 10 Plus houses a 7700mAh battery that HP claims will last up to six hours. Not the greatest battery life, but it is not awful.
On the back is a 5MP camera while a 2MP camera sits on the front. They are capable of recording in 1080p and 720p, respectively.
