Adobe releases preview of Creative Cloud for Android

AdobeCloud When Google and Adobe first announced that Photoshop would be coming to a Chromebook near you, everyone jumped for joy.OK, most people with Chromebooks looking for the image editing app to come to ChromeOS did. Well, today Adobe is adding more to another of Google’s OS’s —Android —in the form of a file management program called Creative Cloud (preview).

As the name suggests, the app is a preview file management app that links you to Adobe’s Creative Cloud. With it, you’ll be able to view and manage your cloud based files including both AI and PSD files. For vector files, the app will render the file rather than show the actual vector file. It also seems to unlock new tools in your favorite apps, although we have no idea what those features are. Given that its a preview, not all the features are live but you can use the app to upload files to your Creative Cloud account.

Speaking of Creative Cloud accounts, you’ll need a free CC membership. With it you’ll have access to trial versions of Adobe’s suite and the added bonus of 2GB of storage in the cloud. Given Adobe’s sporadic and sometimes non-existent update structure we may not see an update for a while, even if Adobe promises regular updates, but hopefully they stick with this app. We have the QR Code and download link for you below.
