OnePlus starts “Storm of Invites” for the OnePlus One

OnePlus One

We’ve been waiting and waiting to get our hands on the OnePlus One. Invites started going out a couple weeks ago, and now users are beginning to get their hands on the OnePlus One, and now even more invites are about to go out. This morning, OnePlus One began their “Storm of invites”. Basically they are giving out 2500 invites to buy the OnePlus One. Which is their $350 smartphone with a 5.5-inch 1080p display, 3GB of RAM, Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, and 64GB of storage. It’s definitely not a bad price for the device. But getting one has been the hard part. We are seeing invite only for now with orders opening up to everyone next quarter, which actually starts in just a few weeks. OnePlus has had plenty of issues in getting their device into hands of consumers as well, including sending out some empty boxes.

The giveaway started today, and it’s pretty easy to enter, just Like them on Facebook, Join their mailing list, tweet about it on Twitter and there are a few other ways to get your invite. It ends in about a week, and they are giving out 2500 invites, plus a free OnePlus One. So it’s definitely worth it to enter this contest. At the time of writing this post, there are over 92k entries. So odds are slim that you’ll actually win, but it’s not like it costs anything to enter, so why not go ahead and enter the giveaway?

We should have a OnePlus One in house this week, and then you’ll start to see plenty of content about the OnePlus One, but in the mean time we’re all about the LG G3. How many of you are itching for a OnePlus One giveaway? How many of you have already gotten one and ordered your OnePlus One? Be sure to let us know in the comments down below.
