CyanogenMod Inc. has been busier than ever, launching you all the latest features and updates, all while trying to bring the OnePlus One to market. One of their latest endeavors is the release of the Cyanogen Theme Showcase app, which will become a great tool for many ROM-flashing fans out there.
The CyanogenMod team has just made their Theme Showcase app live in the Google Play Store, but it’s not exactly for everyone. As expected, the application is only available for CyanogenMod 11 users (including the OnePlus One).
In short, it is an stylish CyanogenMod theme manager and aggregator. You can look through your themes and modify your UI’s aesthetics to your will. What makes this tool special is that you can mix icon packs, fonts, wallpapers, boot animations and more, allowing you to create your own look and feel.
In addition, it supports icon packs made for Nova, LauncherPro, Trebuchet, ADW and Go Launcher. These are the most popular launchers out there, making Cyanogen Theme showcase one of the best supported app icon managers out there (if not the best).
The only downside right now is the lack of supported themes available, but this should change in the coming months, as more developers start joining the movement. After all, CyanogenMod is the most popular custom ROM out there, and it should have no problem gaining quality support from theme makers.
Google Play Store reviews are putting it out to be an amazing app so far. Those using CyanogenMod can head straight to the Google Play Store and see if their devices are compatible. Support seems to be a bit off right now. Some users report no issues while others simply can’t install the app. Give it a go and tell us your experiences in the comments below!
