Xiaomi’s New Teaser And Leaked Images Suggest That The Company Might Release A Weighing Scale Tomorrow

As most of you know by now, Xiaomi will be celebrating the company’s fifth anniversary tomorrow, March 31st. This China-based smartphone manufacturer has already hinted that we might see the next-gen Mi Pad tablet launched at the event, and they’ve also released a rather odd teaser a couple of days ago. Well, the company has decided to release yet another teaser, though this one isn’t all that revealing either.

As you can see in the provided image, this new teaser is showing an arrow which hit the bullseye. The release date is clearly visible at the bottom, and the image comes with a “TZC” tagline. You can also see some numbers (0.1, 0.2, 0.3, etc.) written inside this target. We’re still not sure, but the target actually looks like a smart weighing scale. Another leak surfaced in China, actually showing off this device in a number of images (gallery down below). This device will allegedly be able to connect to all phones running Android 4.4 KitKat or Android 5.0 Lollipop, as well as iOS 7 or higher. This scale will be able to display weights between 5kg and 150kg.

As you can see, the Xiaomi logo is located in the center of the device, and the scale is all-white. The weight will be indicated by LED lights on the very top of this gadget, which is also pictured in the gallery down below. This weighting scale will user 1.5V AA batteries it seems, at least that’s what the image down below reveals. If you take a look at the last image in the gallery, you’ll notice that the model number of this device is “XMTZC01HM”. As you can see, the “TZC” letters are a part of the model number, which might explain why are they listed on the teaser itself.

There you have it. The company will quite probably reveal this weighting scale along with some other devices tomorrow. We still don’t know how much will it cost, or anything of the sort, but will report back as soon as we get more details, most probably after Xiaomi unveils the device.
