Last month, LG announced the LG G Flex 2 at CES 2015 in Las Vegas. There were a few surprises with the LG G Flex 2. As many of us didn’t expect them to give us a smaller screen this time around. It is a bit more curved than the original was, and they upped the resolution to a full HD POLED panel. LG also has shrunk it down to a 5.5-inch display, along with packing in a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor, 3GB of RAM and 3000mAh battery.
This morning Sprint announced that pre-orders for the LG G Flex 2 will begin tomorrow, February 20th, with availability in March. There’s no set date for it being available in March, however. Sprint will also have the exclusive on the Volcano Red color of the LG G Flex 2, which looks so good. AT&T is also expected to carry the bent smartphone, err the LG G Flex 2. Currently, we have no word from AT&T on pre-orders or availability just yet. It appears that AT&T and Sprint are the only two US carriers carrying the LG G Flex 2 right now. The LG G Flex 2 also comes with Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box, which is great, for those looking for the latest version of Android. Sprint will be offering the LG G Flex 2 for $0 down and $21/month for 24 months. If you’re looking to pay full price for this one, it’ll be $504 before taxes. Which isn’t actually a bad price since most smartphones are around $549.
We got our hands on the LG G Flex 2 back at CES last month in Las Vegas and were quite impressed with the device.
