Google Glass Wearers Receiving Photo Story Album Of Glass’s History – Download A Copy Here

This morning some interesting news came in from Google. This was that they were stopping the Google Explorer program most associated with Google Glass. This would have immediately caused some disappointment but at the same time Google were only announcing the end of the program and not the end of Glass. In fact, they also announced that they were appointed a new head of the division in the way of Tony Fadell of Nest fame. So this was not the death of the Glass program but instead what is best thought of moving on to the next stage. Glass will become its own independent division and this might even be the first step in getting Glass more available to the market.

Well, with every closing chapter and the start of a new one there are going to be those who have sweet memories of what once was. And it seems Google feels the same way. As a means of a Thank You, Google have been sending out a memorial piece to its main Glass users (or Wearers). this is in the form of what is basically a memory album. The album consists of a bunch of images and stories recognizing the journey Glass has been on since its conception to now. the images are displayed in a timeline style manner and makes for quite the visual story. Glass Vol 001, as it is being labeled is being mailed out to the Wearers in a commemorative Collector’s Edition.
