Oppo 3007 Is Company’s Newest Mid-Range Offering Priced At 1,699 Yuan ($273)

Oppo has announced two rather appealing devices back in October, Oppo N3 is company’s newest flagship handset which features the rotating camera on the top along with some nifty tricks including that shooter. Oppo R5, on the other hand, is a mid-range offering by this company and was the thinnest device at the time, but was de-throned by Vivo’s X5 Max handset quite recently. We didn’t hear much from Oppo since then though, a rumor here and there but nothing about new devices. Well, this Chinese smartphone manufacturer has announced their mid-range offering, though this device is significantly weaker, as far as specs go, compared to the Oppo R5.

Oppo 3007 is Oppo’s newest handset which sports 4G LTE connectivity and a 64-bit chip on the inside. This handset features a 4.7-inch display along with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage, which can be expanded via MicroSD card. This handset is powered by Qualcomm’s 64-bit Snapdragon 410 processor clocked at 1.2GHz which ships with an Adreno 306 GPU for graphics rendering. 8-megapixel camera is located on the back of this device, while a 5-megapixel snapper is available on the front. Android 4.4 KitKat comes pre-installed on this handset with Oppo’s Color OS 2.0.1 on top of it. This is a dual-SIM handset and, as I already mentioned, it offers 4G LTE connectivity. Oppo 3007 measures 137.6 x 68.8 x 8.95mm while it weighs 129 grams.

This smartphone is your typical mid-ranger if you ask me, its specifications are mid-range and so is its build. The phone seems solid enough even though it is a bit high in my opinion, but if you’re in a market for a mid-range handset in China, this could be one of the options you might want to consider. This phone is priced at 1,699 Yuan, which is about $273. You can find more appealing options for this much money in China, at least in my humble opinion, but that’s up to you, it all depends what you need your phone for and quite frankly which brand and which skin on top of Android you prefer.
