It’s a new season, which means there has to be a new boot animation for Motorola devices. A few of you emailed us to let us know they are seeing a new Fall themed animation on their original Moto X. So I rebooted mine, and bingo, there it was.
Interestingly enough, Motorola isn’t doing this update through their Motorola Boot Services, so we aren’t sure if this will become the norm. The app is still in the Play Store though. I have yet to see this new animation on the new Moto X, Moto G, or Moto E, but I am sure it will land on those devices soon.
If you have a Moto device, then reboot it and see if you have the new animation. If you don’t, you can always hit the break to see what all the fuss is about.
