Google Now has done wonders for people. It has reminded us to finish homework, to take out the trash, walk the dog, show us stories we may be interested in, and simply answers to any request we ask of it. As the days move forward, it seems that Google Now just gets a bit better with new features that Google adds to help notify us of important things. The latest addition to Google Now is the voter registration card. The card has started showing up to Pennsylvania residents. Apparently, the card isn’t showing up due to what the user searched like “Voter Registration,” but because of their location.
According to Droid-Life, a reader said that they haven’t searched up anything voter related in a long time, nor have they searched up the term “Voter Registration” since they first started voting back in 1988. The reader also asked around at work to see if their co-workers received the same card in their Google Now, and surprisingly they did. From the picture provided, you can see that the card is informing the user of the deadline to register so they can vote. The card also provides when the upcoming Pennsylvania general election takes place and two buttons that will let you register or check your registration status.
As of right now, we only have word that this card is showing up for residents in Pennsylvania. Personally, I haven’t received a voter registration card reminding me to vote. In addition, I have also gone ahead and asked a few of my friends that have Google Now if they received a voter registration card. They all said no which leaves me to guess that Google is probably still pushing out the new card to all the Google Now users. That could be the reason why we haven’t seen anything yet. At this point, we need you, an avid reader and Android fanatic, to check your Google Now and let us know if you have a voter registration reminder card. If so, let us know by leaving a comment on this article or on our Google Plus page.
