Google I/O Attendees To Soon Receive Moto 360 Smartwatches

Moto-360-Charger-AH-2

Sure enough, not long after the big Motorola event that contained the announcement and the launch of the fabled Moto 360 smartwatch running Android Wear, it would seem that Google is all ready to ship out the smartwatches to the attendees of this summer’s I/O developer conference that took place in June. After seeing the watch at the developer conference many had come to realize that Google was indeed holding off putting the watch in people’s hands, and had stated they would shipping the watches to those who made it to the event instead of handing them out. Attendees of course didn’t walk away empty handed, as this year’s giveaway also consisted of the option to grab a Gear Live or LG G Watch.

Attendees were informed that the watches would be shipped because they weren’t quite available, and were later provided with an email that was asking for shipping information so that Google could send them out when they were ready. As speculation started to grow over the next couple of months, rumors began to narrow the date down to sometime soon after the launch, which was officially a few days ago. Now that we’re three days past the Motorola event, emails have begun hitting the inboxes of those who were at I/O confirming that the watches were being sent out soon with an included tracking number. Although the watch has already been handed out to anyone who was at the Motorola event in Chicago, there will be a good many individuals who will be getting to touch the Moto 360 for the first time coming up very soon. Any attendees out there excited to get the watch?
