The LG G Pad got a few new brothers earlier this year, which includes a 7-inch 8-inch and a 10-inch versions. The LG G Pad 7-inch is now available for just $149, which is a pretty decent price for this tablet, I think. It’s not quite a high-end tablet, but more of a mid-ranger. It features a 1280×800 resolution display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of storage with a microSD card slot, 4000mAh battery, 3MP camera on the back, 1.3MP front-facing shooter, and runs on Android 4.4 KitKat. It also features the new version of LG’s overlay that is on the LG G3. So you’ve got the new flat UI as well on this tablet. It does also have Knock Code and many of the other features from the LG G3, for those excited about the LG G3 features.
The LG G Pad 7.0 is one of three newer budget tablets from LG. The 8 and 10-inch ones feature a 4200mAh and 8000mAh battery respectively. They also feature a 5MP camera and 16GB of storage. Otherwise all the other specs are the same. However the 8 and 10 inch versions are not yet available here in the US. Although they should be pretty soon, now that we have the 7-inch version available here.
The LG G Pad 7.0 is available on eBay right now for $149, and we have a link down below for those interested. It’s a pretty decent tablet, and one I’d recommend to those that are looking for a decent tablet that doesn’t cost too much. It’s not a high-end tablet, but it’s not a terrible tablet either. Hopefully we see a successor to the LG G Pad 8.3 pretty soon as that is still their “high-end” tablet at least for now. And if they want to compete with Samsung, they’ll need to release something new with a 2560×1600 resolution display and a Snapdragon 805 soon.
