Can This Image Patent Be The Lock Screen of The Samsung Galaxy Note 4?

AH Samsung Logo Note 3 3.3

The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is around the corner and floating around in a patent database are what seem to be the lock screen on the new device. The image of the patent was found on a German database. When you look closely at the blurred letters of the first patent photo there is a date that says “Thu 25, September.” That date is the same exact date of which the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is to be introduced at IFA in Berlin. The date seen on the phablet could be a hint of confirmation that the Note 4 will be unveiled. According to the patent photos, a frame by frame photo shows how to unlock the phone. The user simply swipes his or her finger away from the large circle in the middle and voila, it’s open.

Included in the patent are specs of the Samsung Galaxy Note 4. The Note 4 could either have a 32 bit Snapdragon 805 processor, or the device can have a 64 bit Exynos 5433 processor. With 64 bit technology on the rise in smart phones, it could be more likely that the Note 4 will receive the 64 bit. With a toss up between two different processors, the Note 4 will have 3GB of Ram and 32GB of storage on board. Also expected to be included on the phone is a 5.7 inch display with a screen resolution of 1440 x 2560. The rear camera on the Note 4 is a toss up between a 12MP with an optical image stabilizer or a 16MP without an optical image stabilizer. For the front facing camera the device will be a 3.68MP.

The patent photos from the database are quite interesting being that they are not finalized and still have options thrown into the air. Judging by current events, the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 could run a 64 bit processor with a 16MP camera. We won’t entirely known for sure until the IFA event in Berlin later in September, so we’ll keep our eyes peeled until then for more details to hopefully pop up.
