Concepts smartphones are sometimes really interesting to look at, especially if they’re unique. Every once in a while a worthwhile concept comes our way and it seems right to share it with you. We’ve recently looked at Meizu Hydra, an interesting concept showing off a futuristic looking Meizu smartphone. Well, today we’re going to take a look at a third-party Xiaomi smartphone concept coming from that very same source. Before we do though, keep in mind that this design is not connected to the company in any way, shape or form.
The designer envisioned four version of Xiaomi’s smartphone actually: RedMi TX1 Trace, RedMi TX2 Trace, RedMi XR1 Trace and RedMi XR2 Trace. If you take a look at the gallery down below, you’ll get a good look at all four of these handsets. They’re quite similar, but there are details which let you tell them apart. All of them use the same general shape and black, white and red color combinations. The camera (both front and rear-facing ones), LED flash and logo positioning varies from device to device though. The design of these smartphones is really clean, and the bezels are really thin all around these handsets.
The designer also provided some imaginary specifications for these devices. They are featuring 4.7 / 5.2-inch IPS / Retina HD displays (protected by Corning’s Gorilla Glass) and are powered by quad / octa-core processors. If you take a look at the back of these devices, you’ll find either a 13-megapixel or a 20-megapixel camera. Same can be said about the front-facing shooters, the designer envisioned a 5 or 8-megapixel snapper to be located up front. What about RAM? Well, 3 or 4GB of RAM is available here, and these handsets sport 32 or 64GB of storage. The designer also noted that two of these models come with rear-firing speakers, and in two of them the speakers are located on the side.
That being said, Xiaomi has actually announced a slew of products yesterday, including some smartphones, smart gadgets and the 55-inch Ultra HD Mi TV 2. If you’d like to check out the full announcement, visit this link.
