Meizu MX4 Pro launch is about 2 days away, which means not only we’ll finally get to see this thing and all its details but won’t have to look at anymore rumors about the phone. Over the last few weeks / months we’ve seen tons of content when it comes to this phone, we know a lot of its details by now. We know for sure this handset will ship with a 2K display, considering Meizu’s CEO went ahead and confirmed that. That’s not all though, it has also been confirmed that the device will sport a fingerprint scanner below the display which will double as a home button of course. Everything else we’ve heard have been rumors or leaks.

This handset has leaked on GFXBench back in October and now we get yet another listing on that very same website which basically confirms what we’ve seen the last time, literally. According to the listing (and many leaks we’ve seen thus far) Meizu MX4 Pro will feature a 5.5-inch 2K (2560 x 1536) display along with 3GB of RAM for all your multitasking needs and 16GB of in-built storage. The processor seems to be confirmed as well, Meizu’s CEO has already said that the device won’t run 2 specific versions of Samsung and MediaTek chips, Samsung’s Exynos 5430 wasn’t mentioned though, but it is mentioned in this listing. Exynos 5430 octa-core processor clocked at 2GHz will be powering this thing along with a Mali-T628 MP6 GPU for graphics processing. 20.1-megapixel camera is also listed (quite probably the same Sony’s sensor from the original MX4) and the device will sport a 5-megapixel shooter on the front according to this listing. Android 4.4.4 KitKat is also confirmed, on top of which we’ll get Meizu’s very own Flyme OS (powered by YunOS.

There you have it. Meizu MX4 Pro’s specifications have been confirmed yet again. The rumors were initially pointing at a 2,499 Yuan ($408) price, but according to the latest reports / listings, this handset will cost 3,199 Yuan ($522), That is not exactly too expensive for this handset, all things considered, but I’ve expected Meizu to do the same thing they did with the original MX4 and go as low as possible. Oh well, we’ll find which road they took on November 19th, stay tuned.
