With the Samsung Galaxy Alpha poised to enter the U.S. market thanks to AT&T, Samsung has released an infographic about the device to help introduce consumers to this new segment of the Galaxy line of smartphones. Titled The Evolution of Galaxy Design, the infographic mainly focuses on three characteristics of the Galaxy Alpha.
First, Samsung highlights the mixture of the metal body chassis with the the leather back cover. This combination provides precision, durability and a balanced feel and grip to the device. Samsung also stresses the thin lines of the device, which is only 6.7mm thick, thinner than either of competitor Apple’s new devices. Finally, Samsung touches on the light weight of the Galaxy Alpha which comes in at only 115 grams, once again besting Apple’s top new products. If one checks out the other dimensions, they will find the Galaxy Alpha is slightly smaller in width and height than the iPhone 6, yet comes with a similarly sized 4.7-inch display.
