Samsung has had quite a few devices already this year but reports keep coming of more unreleased phones, with the latest being another device said to be part of Samsung’s newer A series. So far there have been two other phones with the “Galaxy A” title that have popped up, the Galaxy A3 and the Galaxy A5, and now the Galaxy A7 which appears on the Indian website for import/export, Zauba.com, where the A7 has reportedly showed up as listed for some research and development and evaluation purposes.
The SM-A700F we can only assume will have the same metal frame makeup as we see on the Galaxy Alpha, and this is only because of the leaked images that surfaced not too long ago of the SM-A500F which show a similar design to the Galaxy Alpha including what looks like the metal frame. The import/export listing does nothing more than alert us to the presence of a third device in the A series line up from Samsung, and with actual specs being listed or information about what we can expect from the phone, anything we mention in terms of hardware would all be speculation. What seems likely is that Samsung will be offering three varied models with low, mid, and high-end specs starting with the A3, it’s also possible though that each one of these devices could be equivalent to a mini device, a normal sized device and a phablet sized device.
Rumors from earlier reports have already speculated that the A3 and A5 devices would come with a 4.8-inch display and 5-inch display respectively, with the A3 possibly carrying a qHD screen resolution while the A5 might have an upgrade to a superAMOLED. There was also a significant difference in the rumored camera specs, and if those specs turn out to be true than small, medium and large sized phones with low, mid, and high-end specs isn’t too far off of an assumption. It’s a little early to tell at the moment though so we’ll just have to wait and see until more details come up about the SM-A700F as well as the other two phones that are part of the series.
