Google Nexus 9 : How Much will it Cost?

HTC-Volantis-leak-Nexus-9-630x472nexus

The Google Nexus 9. We’ve probably been looking forward to this more than the Nexus 6. Because it’s been a while since we had a bigger Nexus tablet. As the Nexus 10 never really got a successor last year. The Nexus 9 is supposedly going to be available in November, across the pond in the UK. The Nexus 10 was about $350 when it launched, and the last Nexus 7 was about $229 last year. Now we’ve already seen that O2 in the UK is going to be selling it for £459, which is a bit expensive. I’m thinking more around $300.

Why $300? Well we have a more expensive processor in here. We’ve got the NVIDIA Tegra K1. And NVIDIA’s processors are known to be pretty expensive. Which is a big reason why a lot of smartphones don’t use their chips. And with a more premium build this year, I think a $300 price tag is justifiable for the Nexus 9, especially with it’s 8.9-inch 4:3 aspect display. Now we have no word on what the resolution will be, but I’m betting it’ll be a 2560×1600 resolution here. And we’re going to love it! I’d like to see a 32GB go for $299, and a 64GB go for $349, with the LTE 64GB going for $399. I think those would be some amazing prices, and definitely doable, in my opinion.
