Razer Forge TV AH 02

The Razer Forge TV was announced back in January at CES 2015, and is Razer’s entry into the Android TV space. The tiny little box is small enough to fit in your hand and is square shape about the size of a CD. The Razer Forge is packing 2GB of RAM and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 CPU on the inside, along with the Adreno 420 GPU to handle the graphics. At the core the Razer Forge TV is an Android TV box, so you’ll have access to the Play Store, Play Movies, Play Music, with access to tons of apps an games as well.

One niche about the Razer Forge compared to other Android TV units like the Nexus Player though is that it allows game streaming from your PC to the TV it’s hooked up to using Razer’s game streaming software, allowing you to play tons of AAA titles from your computer. It also supports Google Cast technology so you can fling content from your Android smartphone or tablet to the Razer Forge TV just like you would with a Chromecast. The Forge TV is compatible with gamepads as well so you can play games properly, and you can use gamepads to navigate around the Android TV interface. Check out some of the hands on images below.
