Samsung are known for releasing quite a lot of devices each year. That said, 2014 was been a little different. Samsung still released a number of devices, but it does seem they have changed tack a little and have started releasing devices in ranges. Maybe they are trying to emulate the success of the Galaxy S range of devices? Either way, it does seem it is the era of Samsung range devices and so far 2014 has brought with it the release of the Galaxy A range of devices and the announcement of the Galaxy E range of devices. One from each of those in particular are due to land very soon, the Samsung Galaxy E7 and the Samsung Galaxy A7.
In terms of the E7, this devices comes with a 5.5” display with a 1280 x 720 resolution. Inside the E7 comes loaded with 2GB RAM and powered by a Qualcomm’s 64-bit Snapdragon 410 quad-core processor which clocks at 1.2GHz. In terms of memory, the E7 comes as standard with 16GB internal storage and a microSD card slot. If cameras are your thing, then the E7 comes with a 12MP rear shooter along with a 5MP front-facing option. The E7 will land running on Android 4.4 (KitKat) out of the box and powered by a 2,950mAh battery.
In contrast, the A7 will come with a 5.5” HD Super AMOLED display with a 1080p resolution. Inside the A7 will come loaded with 2GB RAM. In terms of the processor, this will depend on which SIM version is purchased. If the single-SIM A7 then the processor will be a 32-bit Exynos 5430 octa-core processor. In contrast, if the dual-SIM A7 is purchased then it will come loaded with a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor. In terms of memory, the A7 comes as standard with 16GB storage and a microSD card slot. Again if cameras are your thing then the A7 will come equipped with a 13MP rear shooter along with a 5MP front-facing option. Lastly, the A7 will also come running on Android 4.4 (KitKat) out of the box although will come with a 2,650mAh battery,
Now, with both these devices en -route and expected to land soon, one of the milestones of that journey is their official stock ROM being released and this is exactly what has now happened.
