Acer Launch The Budget Priced Acer Liquid Z410 Smartphone With 4G, DTS And 64 Bit Processor

When we think of budget handsets we normally think of all the ways in which manufacturers try to cut corners. A cheaper camera, lesser speakers, slowly processor and RAM and the list goes on. However, over the last year (or so) this has begun to change. Instead of budget handsets being something a company dishes out to try and offer cheaper alternatives to their flagship devices, they are now being seen as a thriving and important market. This is largely to do with the EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) who are demanding better and cheaper devices. As such this year, we saw the launch of Android One (albeit solely in India).

Since the launch of Android One and their overall cheaper handsets, other manufacturers have had to change their tact in how they viewed budget smartphones and more recently we are starting to see (and reap) the benefits of this turning of the tide. Acer is one of these companies and they have just announced the release of the Acer Liquid Z410 budget smartphone. One of the big selling points for the Liquid Z410 will be the enhanced audio (for this price point) due to the device’s front-facing speakers and built-in DTS digital audio support. That said, for the price the other specs are not too shabby either.

The Liquid Z410 will come with a 4.5” qHD display. Inside the device will be powered by a 64 bit SoC processor (possibly MediaTek MT6752). In terms of cameras, the device will come with a 5MP rear camera and a 2MP front-facing option with 80-degree wide angle lens (allowing for better selfies and groupies). Another main feature being touted by Acer is that the Liquid Z410 will come with their own signature features like AcerRAPID (customizable actions) and AcerEXTEND (ability to connect and control the smartphone remotely from a Windows-based PC). If you are wondering what the price will be for the Acer Liquid Z410 then it is expected to start selling in Europe for 129 Euros which equates to roughly $155.
