Now that the Motorola Nexus 6 is all official and all. It’s time to see how it stacks up to the current crop of flagships here. So we’ve put together a nice little table comparing the Nexus 6 with the Moto X (2014), Galaxy Note 4, HTC One M8 and the LG G3. For the most part, spec-wise they all look similar. We’ve got the Moto X at a 5.2-inch, Galaxy Note 4 at 5.7-inch, HTC One M8 at 5-inches and the LG G3 at 5.5-inches. While the Nexus 6 is a whopping 6-inches. Well technically it is a 5.96-inch display here, but close enough. Also the only quad HD displays we’ve got here are the Nexus 6, Galaxy Note 4, and the LG G3. As far as the processor goes, they are all very capable, being in the Snapdragon 800-range. But the Galaxy Note 4 and the Nexus 6 are the only ones with the Snapdragon 805. Then on RAM, those are the two with 3GB of RAM, but the LG G3 joins that crowd as well.
We’ve got a 13MP camera here on the Nexus 6, which should be the same sensor as the Moto X, although we don’t know for sure just yet. The Galaxy Note 4 has a 16MP shooter, but as we all know it’s more than megapixels that makes it count for taking great pictures. However, the Nexus 6 does match the Galaxy Note 4 in terms of battery size, and beats the others. Both of those are featuring a 3220mAh battery inside, which isn’t bad, but they could have definitely fit a bigger one in there.
We’ve got our full comparison chart down below if you want to take a look. Prices are pretty much all the same here. It’s nice to see the Nexus not get cheaped out in certain areas like the Nexus 4 and Nexus 5 did.
