When Motorola first released the Moto G, it was obvious that the budget handset market would never be the same. Even now, well over a half year later, it’s hard to find another budget handset that offers so much for such an outstanding price.
On the downside, the Moto G lacks expandable memory and support for LTE, though in March a special LTE variant was released that addressed both problems, priced slightly higher at $219. For those looking for a steal, however, Best Buy is currently offering up the Moto G 4G LTE for just $179.99, the same price you’d normally pay for the non-LTE Moto G.
As you might expect with such an enticing deal, there is a small catch. Those ordering on Best Buy’s website won’t be able to have the device shipped to their door, as Best Buy is only offering up free site-to-store shipping. This means you’ll order online but you’ll have to physically pick it up at your nearest Best Buy. For those looking to save nearly $40, a trip to the store is probably more than worth the effort, though.
Best Buy is selling the Moto G 4G LTE in two colors, black or white. No word on how long this deal will last, so we’d probably move on it quickly, if you’re at all interested.
