At the Uncarrier 5.0 event, John Legere through everyone for a loop after jumping on a pair of turntables and announcing Uncarrier 6.0: Music Freedom. With T-Mobile’s Music Freedom, T-Mobile will allow customers to stream unlimited music using the top “streaming services” — composing of 85% of music streaming on their network — all for free.
While the top services are included, many of you will notice that Google Play Music was left out. Don’t freak out. T-Mobile mentions they’ll be expanding Music Freedom to include more services in the future, even allowing customers to vote for their favorite to jump to the top of the list.
