There are a number of deals and options going about at the moment. As such if you are in the market for a new phone (or at least a newer phone than your current one) then you do have a few choices. Only this morning, the news came through that Verizon Wireless had dropped the price of the Motorola DROID Turbo on a two-year contract, down from $199.99 to $149.99. Well, next in line to offer their latest ‘deal’ offering is Sprint and this time it comes in the way of a couple of Samsung devices.
Sprint announced this morning (source link below) that they are launching their newest bundle deal, in which you can pick up a tablet and a phone, both on data plans and for a reduced combined price. The phone in question is the (technically) now former flagship device, the Samsung Galaxy S5. The tablet in question is the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4. The two are currently on offer for $100 for both with $0 down payment. Of course, this amount does not include the typical “applicable taxes and charges”, but other than the taxes, you can pick both up for the one combined price. In terms of the Samsung Galaxy S5 (Galaxy S5 Sport is also available as part of the deal), this means you can take advantage of unlimited talk, text and data. While in contrast, the Galaxy Tab 4 will come with 2GB of usable data per month
According to Sprint, the combination offered can save users as much as $300 a month. This is in contrast to if you were to pick up the two devices on separate contracts. The deal means you will be picking up the Samsung Galaxy S5 on Sprint leasing (which equates to roughly $20 per month charge). Likewise, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 will be purchased on Sprint Easy Pay (which comes in at a $12.50 a month charge). The remainder of the $100 will consist of the charges for the actual plans and data, minus the discounts for the bundle. Let us know if you like the deal or if you are planning to take advantage of this latest Sprint deal.
