Latest Teaser By The Company Confirms That Huawei P8 Will Launch Next Month

Huawei is one of the most talked about Chinese smartphone OEMs lately. This company managed to produce really great products last year and basically improve in almost every way. The company has just announced a couple of new devices at MWC (Mobile World Congress) in Barcelona which we’ve already covered at length. The company has announced the new and sleek Android Wear-powered smartwatch, the CarFi wireless hotspot and the MediaPad X2 tablet, along with the TalkBand B2 and TalkBand N1 fitness bands.

The company has also released an interesting and quite revealing teaser today. As you can see in the provided image, the teaser clearly confirms the launch of Huawei P8. The teaser confirms that the device will launch in April, as one of Huawei’s execs mentioned quite recently. This handset is rumored to sport a 5.2-inch 1080p (1920 x 1080) display along with 3GB of RAM for your multitasking needs and quite probably the 32 or 64GB of internal storage (the company will almost certainly provide more storage options here). Huawei’s Kirin 930 octa-core processor clocked at 2GHz will power on this device and Android 5.0 Lollipop will come pre-installed on this device with Huawei’s Emotion UI on top of it. 13-megapixel camera is expected to be located on the back of this thing, and an 8-megapixel snapper will quite probably be available up front.

The Huawei P8 will be priced around $450 according to the latest rumors, though we can’t confirm this, of course. Huawei P8 is not the only high-end device we expect Huawei to introduce this year though, Huawei Mate 8 is in the cards for the company as well, and the D8 handset has also been mentioned, though we haven’t heard much about that thus far. The Huawei Mate 7 Mini has also been mentioned several times before, and is expected to launch sometime soon.

Huawei is definitely on the right path, they’ve been improving in many ways recently, and it will be interesting to see what they can do this year, what sort of devices will they release. Let us know what you think in the comments.
