As expected, Samsung is hosting an Unpacked Event at Mobile World Congress. Last year, they did it on a Monday, but it appears this year will be on Sunday, March 1st. It’s also the same day that HTC will unveil the new One (M9) and One (M9) Plus or Ultra.
As with every invitation, there is always some sort of clue and this one is no exception. The tagline is “What’s Next,” which is no big deal, but the silhouette above it is curved. That must be hinting at the Galaxy S Edge, which is likely to have two curved edges, one at the right side and one at the left side. However, the curve in that silhouette is a bit steep for an edge, so we aren’t sure what that could indicate. Some are speculating that the Galaxy S 6 could sport a bump at the camera, but that is unlikely. I think the bottom line is that it’s a curve and we can expect to see some curves on that day.
I am pretty excited for “What’s Next” with Samsung. The Galaxy S 6 should have a premium build, a great camera, and a toned-down TouchWIz experience.
