A report from ePrice has appeared online revealing that Sony’s unannounced flagship smartphone of 2015, the Xperia Z4, will be launched in a couple of variants with different display resolutions when it makes its debut appearance later this year.
The Chinese online publication states that the model marked for the US market will sport a 2K display (2048 × 1536 pixels), whereas other regions are set to receive a model that features a standard FHD panel (1920 x 1080 pixels).
Details in the report also reveals that Sony has made a fundamental development in its waterproofing technology and claims that the Z4 won’t need a flap to cover the USB port to keep liquid away from its internal components.
