Samsung Galaxy A3 And A5 Expected To Arrive In India Very Soon

Samsung is not a company scared of releasing smartphones. While some companies focus hard on one device, Samsung seems to focus devices on different features or aspects. As a result, we end up with a whole bunch of Samsung devices being released each year. While all the talk in 2014 was about the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and the Note Edge, 2014 was also the year of the metal Samsung devices. This began when Samsung launched the Galaxy Alpha which was their first metal offering although not a true all-metal device. This was quickly followed through, by the launch of the Galaxy A range of devices. There are three devices in the A range although we have only really seen two of them hitting the market so far, the Samsung Galaxy A3 and the Galaxy A5.

These two Galaxy A devices have been rather slow in rolling out. Since their launch back at the end of October, the A3 and A5 have landed in China, Taiwan, Netherlands and Russia. In fact, only last week we were seeing that they were available to order in the US via Expansys. Well, the latest news is that the A3 and A5 look set to land in India any time now. This has not exactly been confirmed by Samsung, but Indian Retailer, Mahesh Telecom have tweeted images of the dummy units they have received from Samsung, along with the ‘coming very soon’ tag. So, with dummy units landing, it does seem it is only a matter of time before the real units will be in-store and available to buy.

If you are India based and thinking about picking either one up, then you might want to know what you are getting. So here is a brief recap? The Samsung Galaxy A3 comes with a 4.5” qHD Super AMOLED display. Inside, the A3 offers 1GB RAM along with a quad-core 1.2GHz Processor. Memory on offer includes 8GB’s of internal storage. On the other side, the Samsung Galaxy A5 comes with a bigger 5” 720p display. Inside the RAM is also increased to 2GB, as is the processor with an octa-core processor on offer clocking at 1.2GHz.
