With all this fuss over the Sony Pictures Entertainment hacks and what still seems like an “up in the air” status for the chance to see the movie The Interview, we can’t forget to stop and take a moment throughout the day and take a breath and have a few laughs. Since we may never get to see The Interview officially(who are we kidding it will make it online at some point)WeMail has created a theme for their application that was inspired by The Interview so we don’t have to feel without, and if anything it should bring a pretty big smile to your face.
If you have never used WeMail before, it’s a cool little email client app that organizes things in an easy to navigate way so you can help reduce the clutter inside of your inbox by up to 50%. It does this partly by organizing emails by sender, and it also provides you with a real-time contextual email search, as well as one-tap access to all photos and documents you’ve ever exchanged with others. Since an email app is something we use on a daily basis, WeMail wanted to jazz their client up by providing users with this rather hilarious new theme.
Now from what we’ve been told by WeMail they will have a few themes inspired by The Interview(likely all banned in North Korea)however the screenshots shown below are the only ones we’ve received and they all seem to be the same theme, save for the circle at the bottom of the screen that displays a different icon, and perhaps those are the different themes. If you like the look of these and you’re a current WeMail user look out for these to hit as you’ll be able to download them soon hopefully. We don’t have any word on when they’ll be available or if they’ll cost you anything to download. Given that the WeMail app is free however and themes are usually a premium customization extra, you might be forking out a buck or two for these. We’d say that’s worth it though especially if you find all this business surrounding James Franco and Seth Rogen’s latest flick to be rather ridiculous and comical. Which actually seems ironic a little bit because the movie is entirely a comedy. In any case, we hope you enjoyed these themes as much as we did.
