T-Mobile CEO John Legere Reads His Own Version Of ‘Twas The Night Before Christmas’

T-Mobile is getting in the spirit with one of their latest stunts, a seasons greetings video from T-Mobile CEO John Legere where he reads off a jolly Christmas tale about naughty carriers and 10GB of free data. Suffice it to say if Legere were taking over for Santa this year, the CEO’s of the other top three carriers would likely be getting stockings filled with lumps of coal and breakup letters. Legere’s very own version of Twas’ The Night Before Christmas is great for a chuckle if you’re feeling a bit down on this Monday afternoon, even if you aren’t a T-Mobile customer you should still be able to appreciate the humor.

We won’t spoil any specifics, but the video is pretty much comprised of some of this year’s Uncarrier tactics and T-Mobile’s successful quarterly numbers, written up in to rhyme just like Twas The Night Before Christmas. T-Mobile describes the video as Legere poking fun at the “hum-bug carriers” who we’re to assume are the scrooges in this scenario, and thinking back to earlier in the year when John Legere was reportedly thrown out of the Macklemore concert that AT&T was sponsoring(which he also was said to have a pass to get into)we can’t help but think hum-bug is a spot on description.

This past year has given rise to many things T-Mobile and Legere have to be thankful for, like the fastest and most growth of customer base and rolling out their newest piece to the Uncarrier puzzle, Data Stash. Of course the Music Freedom, Contract Freedom, T-Mobile Test Drive, and WiFi Unleashed all gained them substantial recognition as well as helped bring in even more new customers. Take our advice, and brew a fresh cup of hot cocoa, or poor yourself a nice old glass of egg nog to really get into the holiday spirit while you watch T-Mobile’s tribute to the year’s accomplishments and have a laugh at the Christmas themed video.
