Google wants to ensure that each and every person using a device with Android 5.0 completely understands its capabilities. Today, an app known as Device Assist went live in the Play Store. Device Assist provides users with tips and troubleshooting so that the experience is as smooth as possible. The app wants the device to be extremely efficient; therefore, it will actually change settings automatically if you accept the recommendations made. If it recommends that you adjust your brightness to benefit battery life, select the Do It For Me option. Tips can be saved for later viewing. And if a user is still experiencing issues, contacting support is built-in.

Device Assist only works with Nexus, Google Play Edition, and Android One devices running Android 5.0 Lollipop at this time.
