As promised, Motorola has opened pre-orders for its new products, including the second generation Moto X and the Moto 360 smartwatch.
On its website, Motorola is offering the Moto X Pure Edition (fancy name for the unlocked GSM model) for $499, as well as the AT&T version for $99 on a two-year contract. You can also get the AT&T model from the carrier’s website, though without customization options.
Motorola is letting you customize your Moto X through Moto Maker, which offers a variety of colors and several types of leather and wood materials. At the time of this writing, the web app seems to be having troubles coping with the load, so some patience may be in order. Like with the original Moto X, choosing a natural material (wood, leather) will cost you an additional $25 bucks. You can also engrave a name or custom message for free.
Currently, the unlocked Moto X ships within 10 days.
The Moto 360 is available in black and gray for $249. Both colors are listed as in stock.
If you are worried about battery life on your new Moto X, the $35 Turbo Charger lets you quick charge your device, adding up to 8 hours of battery life in just 15 minutes. Meanwhile, the Moto Hint Bluetooth headset is available for a steep $150.
Are you planning to buy one of Motorola’s new products today?
