Earlier this week, HTC announced that its proprietary software would launch in the Play Store for other Android devices. The company’s first application part of this new strategy is now available to download. Zoe is an app that can put together highlight videos based on the content captured with your device. It works with both photographs and videos to produce the final product. Users sign in with a Google, Facebook, or HTC account.
Zoe can serve two purposes. It has editing features to enhance your highlight reel. There are filters and users can attach a soundtrack. Then there is the social aspect. A profile contains a users content and others can like and comment on it. Also, content can be shared to other social networks. There is an option to choose who can see what on your profile. The entire app is in beta and the first full version will not arrive until sometime this fall. Because of this, HTC is open to any feedback in order to improve Zoe.
