When Android Wear was officially introduced at Google I/O 2014, the only known devices were the G Watch, Gear Live, and Moto 360. Actually, those are still the only known Android Wear devices. But shortly after, it was believed that ASUS was working on a September release for its own smartwatch with Google’s wearables platform. Then a report surfaced that the device would be extremely thin. The most recent bit of news we heard about ASUS’ smartwatch was that the company is setting high expectations for it. A report out today claims that the company will indeed be readying a launch for early this fall with a debut coming at IFA 2014 next month.
So in less than a month, we should know much more about what ASUS and Motorola have in store for Android Wear.
