We’re almost through the pile of cases that Verus sent us to review and giveaway for the LG G3, and this is their Slim Fit TPU case for the LG G3. There’s really not much to say about this one as we’ve reviewed so many TPU cases in the past already. This is their Slim Fit Matte TPU case, and is available in blue, black, gray and pink. I’ve got the blue one here, as you can probably tell. I actually really like the case, although I think I’d like it a bit more if it were the black or gray one, as the blue really stands out. And the black one would blend in a bit more, especially with the black on the LG G3. Verus is selling the Slim Fit case for just $8.99 right now, which is definitely a great deal.
This case is pretty slim as well, which keeps the LG G3 thin and light which are some of the selling points of the device. The most important thing, though is the fact that it is anti-slip. I’ve been using this case for a few days now and it’s definitely a lot less slippery than the LG G3 without any type of case on there. You may not be able to tell, but it is a rugged case with anti-shock protection. So that if you do drop it, it probably won’t cause any damage to your G3. Which is the real reason why we buy these cases for our $600 smartphone right? Verus says that this case is resistant to yellowing and dust attraction. Now we haven’t noticed much dust collecting on this case like others, but obviously we haven’t been using it long enough to see if it really is resistant to the yellowing.
For $8.99, it’s a decent case. It may not fit everyone’s wants and needs. But for protecting your brand new LG G3, it’s a good alternative, and one that still keeps the LG G3 light and thin.
