Oppo has already announced that they’ll launch Oppo N1’s successor on October 29th in Singapore (though they’ll hold an even in Beijing as well). The details of the event are not all too clear at this point, but it seems like Oppo will hold two events on said date. Anyhow, this device will be called Oppo N3 for some reason, Oppo will hopefully give us the reasons for skipping the N2 name. We’ve seen tons of rumors, leaks and even official information when it comes to this device. This time around Oppo released yet another piece of the puzzle for us, the detailed breakdown of Oppo N3’s camera module. Oppo’s CEO already confirmed this will be a 16-megapixel shooter and if you take a look at the image above you’ll see a detailed breakdown of that model. We also know that this camera will have a 1/2.3-inch sensor as well and that it will, of course, rotate. Oppo’s CEO has also shared a video via Weibo (Chinese social network) in which we can see this camera in action, it seems like it will have some sort of motor on the inside which will automatically turn it around. Really sounds interesting, right? You can also see a fingerprint sensor on this image above, the one that already leaked a few days ago.
Oppo N3 will allegedly feature a 5.9-inch 1080p or 2K display along with 3GB of RAM and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 805 quad-core processor. These are only rumors at this point, but a number of them have been pointing towards these specs. VOOC rapid charging has also been rumored, the same one we’ve already seen in action when Oppo released Oppo Find 7. This 75% of battery in just 30 minutes? Yes, please! Oppo N3 will reportedly also be available in two build versions, aluminum-lithium alloy or stainless steel. The stainless steel one is still kind of doubtful, but basically every rumor has been pointing towards the aluminum-lithium alloy and we’ve even seen some promo material leak.
